LEGACY GIVING

There are many ways for you to offer support to the Museum: visit, become a member, become a Friend of the Museum, make a donation In Memorium, or even leave a charitable gift in your will or living trust. Your support is greatly appreciated and tax-deductible.

Making plans for legacy giving is a deeply personal process. But no matter where your passions for philanthropy lie, speaking with an estate planner can ensure that your wishes are known and your passions endure!

If you wish for your legacy giving to include the Northwest Carriage Museum, don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions. As always, we are grateful for your support and your contributions help us keep history alive!

Talk to a financial planner or attorney to get your estate planning underway.

The IRS provides generous incentives for charitable gifts made through estate planning. It is best to consult an attorney or estate planner to understand the advantages of these options, and it is recommended that you inform us of your intended support of the museum to ensure that your wishes are honored.

Additionally, there are substantial tax benefits to donating from Stock Distributions or Required Minimum Distributions from retirement accounts when you support a 501(c)(3) like the Northwest Carriage Museum.

OUR MISSION The Northwest Carriage Museum preserves, maintains, and interprets the collection of horse-drawn vehicles and period artifacts of the 19th Century. We are home to over sixty beautiful horse-drawn vehicles including carriages, buggies, wagons and sleighs, and more than a thousand historical artifacts that help bring history to life and create a cultural experience. We are dedicated to keeping history alive for future generations, educating about horse-drawn transportation, restoration, and conservation of the vehicles, and supporting our local community.
